More soothing Willamette Valley destinations:

Tee it Up - Lane County (Eugene Area)
  • Hit the links at one of Lane County’s beautiful courses, located from the Oregon Coast to the McKenzie River Valley. With more than a dozen to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect green to sink a hole-in-one. Start your golfing journey off on the right foot, with a stop at Fiddler’s Green, ‘America’s largest on-course pro shop.’ Sign up for a “Stay and Play Golf Package” for fantastic deals and savings on rounds of golf and lodging.

Retreat to Nature - Marion & Polk Counties (Salem Area)

  • Breitenbush Hot Springs’ natural hot spring pools, tiled tubs and steam saunas invite visitors to soak away everyday pressures and stress. Located on a 154 acre wildlife sanctuary in the Willamette National Forest, this retreat facility, where clothing is optional, provides access to an ancient forest, river and mountain trials, as well as centers for meditation, reflection and yoga.

Watch the River Run - Benton County (Corvallis Area)

  • Fish along the Alsea River with River Run Guide Service for a relaxing day on the water. Those who aren’t fishing fiends can let the current guide them from the comfort of a boat. After a relaxing day on the river, spend the evening at Leaping Lamb Farm Stay, nestled in a small creek valley in the middle of the Oregon Coast Range.

Pamper Your Soul - Mt. Hood Territory (Wilsonville Area)

  • Make yourself comfortable among fine furnishings and a tasty breakfast spread at the Prairie House Inn B&B, and then pamper yourself in a peaceful country setting with a complete spa experience at the J & S Center for Wellness.  Local wines are waiting to be sampled at regional wineries, including Marquam Hill Vineyard and St. Josef’s Winery.

Let the Music Take You - Yamhill County (Newberg Area)

  • Gather your lawn chairs and blankets and meet at Rotary Centennial Park in Newberg for the Tunes on Tuesday summer concert series.  Starting on July 10th and continuing for eight weeks, this free concert series features a variety of popular music. If the weather doesn’t allow for exploration of the outdoors, hire a driver and head to one of Newberg’s many wineries, like Rex Hill or Chehalem, to sip a glass in the tasting room while watching the rain and fog gently roll through the hills.
