Experience - Family of Voyagers
Family Fun in the Albany Area
Kids enjoy fun, interactive experiences while learning about how things worked in earlier times.

The Willamette Valley is home to some of the best family activities in the state. Discover Albany, a historical town full of new activities off the beaten path for everyone to enjoy. Round up the family and choose from several activities like visiting museums, fishing, biking, hiking and taking in the sights of a unique historical district.

Visit the Historic Carousel and Museum where community volunteers carve and hand paint a menagerie of animals for the historic Gustave Dentzel merry-go-round scheduled to be finished by 2012.

Take the family on a biking trip through the scenic Covered Bridge Loop and head to the fish hatchery where kids can feed trout.

Head back in time at The Monteith House, Oregon’s most authentically restored pioneer home. Also visit family-friendly Linn County Historical Museum and Thompson’s Mills State Park.

Have a picnic at Springhill Cellars winery for great scenery, wine and food.
