FireWorks Restaurant is the place for fantastic food and excellent live music. This little restaurant offers beautiful courtyard seating, a cozy atmosphere, and intimate indoor table seating. A banquet room is available for large parties.
Visit this lovely cafe, which serves divine meals under the hand of Chef Intaba Liff-Anderson. She trained at Anne Marie Colbin's Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City and has a flair for eclectic gourmet meals ranging from classic French cuisine to old-fashioned American favorites.
FireWorks features exquisite cocktails, fine wines and microbrews made right in Corvallis. Their menu is devised from 95% locally grown and organic ingredients, using pasture-raised meats from the Benton County area and wild seafood. They specialize in slow food dishes, including their vegetarian entrees and positively decadent desserts.
FireWorks is well-known for excellent pizza, too. They bake personal-sized, wood-fired pizzas to perfection in their 900-degree adobe oven.
Food isn't all FireWorks is known for, either. On the weekends they're rocking, featuring a well-known lineup of local artists playing awesome jazz, folk and reggae for the crowd. Joanne Trzcinski, known for her jazz piano and spectacular vocals, is a regular performer, as are local favorites Karl Smiley, the Van Meyers Duo, Adam Scramstad and Eric Vanderwall.
After an evening of food and tunes, consider overnighting at nearby Alder Creek Guest Cottage, a quiet place filled with creature comforts and newly renovated with a luxurious bed, fireplace, kitchenette, deck, and bath. Relax and enjoy the surrounding area of Corvallis and the sounds of Benton County's countryside.
