Yamhill Valley is widely regarded for its panoramic beauty. Rolling verdant hills, agricultural lands and picturesque vineyards make almost any stop a photo opportunity. Whether you want to drink in the view or just drink wine, this route features a host of breathtaking vistas.

Sip & Take it in

Anne Amie Vineyards: Pinot reigns supreme at Anne Amie Vineyards with Pinot noir, Pinot gris and Pinot blanc forming the heart of its production. The vineyards are located on the steep hillsides of the Chehalem Mountains overlooking the rolling hills of the Yamhill-Carlton District. The tasting room highlights breathtaking views of the vineyard and the Coast Range.

Vista Hills Vineyards: Come for the wine and stay to explore the Treehouse Tasting Room, a 6,000-square-foot hideout nestled high among Douglas fir and White Oak treetops. Inside, you'll find an open floor plan that overlooks the lower level barrel room and cellar. From the deck, enjoy the stunning view that brought owners John and Nancy McClintock here 15 years ago.

Winderlea Vineyard: Winderlea is a luxury boutique winery specializing in the limited production of Pinot noir. Winderlea was founded in 2005 by Donna Morris and Bill Sweat as an outgrowth of their passion for great Pinot noir. The tasting room built in 2008 features ultra-modern architecture and outstanding views from the Dundee Hills where it sits.

Willakenzie Estate Winery: WillaKenzie Estate is located on rolling hillsides in the Chehalem Mountains. The winery was named after the WillaKenzie soil in which the vines are planted to convey the influence that the soil imparts on the wine's flavors and aromas. The patio outside the tasting room is graced by a breathtaking view of rolling agricultural hillsides.

Stay

Third Street Flats: This new style of accommodation offers travelers the privacy and independence of a hotel with the hospitality of a bed and breakfast. A European-inspired nightly apartment rental, Third Street Flats offers four unique apartments in the heart of downtown McMinnville, all of which feature the best of local products and 'green' materials.

Fox Farm Cottage: This charming one-story cottage located in Dundee features a full kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms with feather beds and luxurious linens, and a dining room that seats six or more for your candlelight supper. Beautiful wood floors and classic country decor will make your stay comfortable and romantic.

Their restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, Wednesday through Saturday, along with brunch on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, the wine bar offers small plates, hors díoeuvres and affordable wines by the glass.
