Wine + Outdoor Adventures

We’ve got plenty to show you.

Our valley is as rich in bounty as is it in scenery – why would you want one without the other? See breathtaking views of old-growth trees in the Willamette National Forest, get a glimpse at what a waterfall looks like from the inside at Silver Falls State Park, and watch nearly 150 miles of award winning wine country whiz by as you ride in a car, bike - or saddle. The Willamette Valley promises world class wine and endless outdoor adventure.

Unique Lodging Experiences - Stay in a lodge, cabin or resort nestled beside giant Douglas fir trees, sweeping sand dunes, scenic lakes or rushing rivers. Just outside your cozy retreat hike nature trails, soak in hot mineral-spring-fed pools, swing a golf club or launch a kayak. Try Big Bear Campground and Retreat Center and Eagle Rock Lodge

Goat Yoga - Goat Yoga offers Yoga Classes with 360-degree views of the Coastal Mountains and the beautiful Willamette Valley all while adorable, friendly and loving goats wander around and snuggle up. It’s been touted as the greatest Yoga class of all time and necessary for any bucket list!

Use Albany as your home base for day trip on the bikeway north to Oregon Wine Country, or south to the charming pioneer town of Brownsville. If you’re an ambitious cyclist or want a multi-day ride, plan to cycle the entire 132-mile route.

River to Ridge - Based on the popular “Sea to Summit” event in Japan, this kayaking/biking/hiking event comes to Salem, Sept. 18, 2017. Participants will kayak the Willamette River, bike portions of the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway and hike Silver Falls State Park.

Yamhill Valley
